Depicting the outline of proposed construction

 

Story poles are used to show the elevations and silhouettes of a proposed
building or an addition to an existing building.  The building may be
residential, mixed use, or commercial.  Story poles may also be used
to depict the outline of tree planting, towers, earthen grading,
